At the beginning of this game, Stanford was playing better. It looked like they were going to take the title home without a problem. Stanford was up at the half by 11, 32-21. Even in most of the 2nd half, Stanford was doing great. But then, right at the end of the 2nd half, Reid Travis on Stanford fouled Sheldon McClellan on Miami. Miami was down 1. McClellan made both free throws, which would send the game to overtime. The game went back and forth until the end, where Miami had a 3 point lead and the lost it. They did not get a single point after that, so Stanford won, 66-64, but Miami put on a show.
